Sustainability for Isagro S.p.a. is a value and a commitment and is embodied in behaviors and activities managed efficiently and economically in order to ensure maximum safety, health protection and quality of production processes with total respect for the environment. In a world in which it has become important to reconcile development and available resources, growth and the needs of future generations, as part of the GOWAN Group, Isagro is committed to helping combat food scarcity and food-related problems especially in countries with less economic resources or more populated, as this accreditation, now historical for the site, also attests from a LCA (Life Cycle Analysis) perspective.
Participation in the EMAS Regulation requires member organizations to implement an Environmental Management System aimed at assessing and improving the environmental performance of their activities, and to present appropriate information about it to the public and other stakeholders.
The Adria Production Site's EMAS commitment continues and supports the development of ISAGRO's and the GOWAN Group's Sustainability project: a value and commitment that is embodied in behaviors and activities managed efficiently and economically in order to ensure maximum safety, health protection and quality of production processes, with total respect for the environment, towards which the business itself is aimed.
ISAGRO's commitment to GOWAN's Sustainability project has also been concretely confirmed during 2024 with the maintenance of environmental certification according to ISO 14001:2015 at the Adria and Bussi sites, the development of a safety management system according to ISO 45001 with forthcoming certification at the Novara site, and the inventory of GHG emissions scope 1 2 and 3 according to ISO 14067.
