What are cookies

A cookie is a small text file containing a certain amount of information exchanged between a website and your terminal (usually your browser) and is normally used by the website operator to store the information needed to improve website browsing or to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user when browsing the web. When you visit the same website again or any other website, your device checks for the presence of a recognised cookie so to read the information contained in it. Different cookies contain different information and are used for different purposes (efficient browsing in the pages of the same website, profiling in order to send targeted promotional messages, analysis of the number of visits to the website).
While browsing, users may also receive cookies on their terminal, sent by different websites or web servers (so-called third parties), on which some elements may reside (e.g. images, maps, sounds, specific links to pages of other domains) that are present on the website the user is visiting.

More generally, some cookies (called session cookies) are assigned to the user's device only for the duration of access to the website and expire automatically upon closing the browser. Other cookies (defined as persistent) remain in the device for an extended period of time.

The specific purposes of the different types of cookies installed on this website are described below.
You can disable the cookies by following the instructions below.

Characteristics and purpose of the cookies installed by the website

If you do not want to receive cookies, you can change your browser’s settings so that you are notified when cookies are sent or so that you can refuse cookies. You can also delete cookies that have already been installed on your device.

If you want to limit or block the browser cookies that are already installed on your device, you can do so by setting your browser: “Settings” in your browser should tell you how.

For more information about cookies and how to manage them, you can visit AboutCookies.org, which contains detailed information on how to proceed on different types of browsers.

When you disable cookies you risk losing some of the website's functions.

How do we use cookies?

Below is the information you need to identify the cookies installed, their function and their duration on your device.

The data collected by first party cookies may be shared with subjects acting on behalf of Isagro SpA as data processors or persons authorised to the processing, for purposes related to what is described in this Cookie policy. With respect to this data, users may exercise the rights under Article 15 et seq. of Regulation 2016/679, as indicated at the bottom of this policy.

Technical Cookies

This type of cookie allows the correct functioning of some sections of the Website. There are two categories: persistent and session cookies.

  • persistent: once the browser is closed they are not destroyed but remain until a preset expiry date;
  • session: they are destroyed every time the browser is closed.

These cookies, always sent by our domain, are necessary to correctly display the website and in relation to the technical services offered, will therefore always be used and sent, unless users change the settings in their browsers (thus affecting the display of the website’s pages).

Analytical Cookies

Cookies in this category are used to collect information about the website’s use. Isagro SpA will use this information for anonymous statistical analyses in order to improve the use of the Website and to make the content more interesting and relevant to the users’ preferences. This type of cookie collects data in an anonymous form on user activity and how the Website was reached. Analytical cookies are sent from the Website or from third party domains.

Cookies for the analysis of third party services

These cookies are used to collect information about the use of the Website, such as: pages visited, length of stay, traffic origin, geographic origin, age, gender and interests for marketing campaigns. These cookies are sent from third party domains outside the Website. Please note that the purpose of these cookies, the logic behind their processing and the management of user preferences with respect to cookies are not determined and/or verified by Isagro SpA but by the third party supplying them, in its capacity as supplier and data controller.

Cookies to integrate products and functions of third party software

This type of cookie integrates functions developed by third parties within the Website’s pages, such as icons and preferences expressed in social networks in order to share the website’s content or for the use of third party software services (such as software to generate maps and additional software that offer extra services). These cookies are sent from third party domains and from partner websites that offer their functions in the Website’s pages.

Profiling cookies

These cookies are necessary to create user profiles in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user within the Website’s pages.

Third party websites and services

The Website may contain links to other websites that have their own privacy policies, which may differ from those adopted by www.isagro.com and therefore it is not responsible for these websites.
