Isagro was established in 1992. Today it is a leading world operator in the agropharmaceutical sector. The Group is active in the research, development, production and marketing, on a worldwide scale, of proprietary agricultural pharmaceuticals, as well as their distribution on some important markets. The policy of strategic partnerships and takeovers that ISAGRO has developed over the years has made it a “small global player”. Today Isagro is the only company in Italy that currently invests in innovative research for the development of new molecules. Isagro has been listed on the Italian Stock Exchange's Mercato telematico azionario (Screen-based Stock Exchange) since November 2003, and has been admitted to the High Performance (Requirement) Equities Segment (STAR) since 2004. Isagro in figures (2010 results): consolidated revenues of € 133,8 million, achieved worldwide in more than 80 countries, with a € 18,9 million EBITDA; investments in research represent 11% of sales of proprietary products; 618 employees, 100 of them work in research and development.
